In less than four days, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is set to hit record sales globally.
The much-anticipated line has been a tease for the past couple of months, and finally, us customers have now got a release date of Friday, September the 8th. Which gives us enough time to prepare our bank accounts for the impact this makeup will undoubtedly have on our savings.
The advertising for Fenty Beauty has been exclusive to both the website and Instagram. With Rihanna dropping the first promotional video, which featured a diverse range of models. Included in the line up was Duckie Thot, Slick Woods, Halima Aden, and Paloma Elsesser all wearing the Fenty Beauty line of perfection.
It’s safe to say show-stopping lip gloss, and golden, sparkly highlighter will be some of the first products to drop. With Rihanna displaying some of the shine on her Instagram a couple of days ago.
The Instagram images have been accompanied by names such as ‘Trophy Wife’, ‘Ginger Binge’ and ‘Chic Phreak’. With more shades and names to drop throughout the week, it has us all anxious to see the entire cosmetic line.
Going by the multi cultural talent used within Fenty’s promotional video it’s sure to be welcoming a larger representation of skin tone deviation, compared to the majority of beauty and fashion campaigns shown today. Even Fenty Beauty have labelled themselves as “the new generation of beauty,” applauding and including every skin tone.
